April 27, 2016 - me and my sister signed copies of our books at our school's book fair!

June 3-5, 2016 - We sold books at ConCarolinas, a scifi book convention! Also, check out the promotion under their St. Patrick's Day blog post!

April 22, 2016: We are now 1/7th of the way to our goal!!! 

​

June 6, 2016: We are now over 60% of the way toward our goal! Thank you ConCarolinas!!!

​

July 2016: I started writing my third book with another friend of mine! We hope to finish it in the fall!!!

​

August 13, 2016: We went with a new co-author, Ani, to Small Hands Big Hearts Java Jive Jog fundraising event. We are almost at $500!! That's my sister's goal!

​

December 2, 2016: We attended the Small Hands Big Hearts End of Year Compassion Donation Celebration. We presented $200 to A Lotta Love, on behalf of SHBH. This got us really close to our $700 goal!!

December 13, 2016: We sold our books at our school's Fall Book Fair. This put us over our goal. We have officially earned over $800!!!

​

June 13, 2017: We finally got the chance to meet our ultimate goal: Lotta, of A Lotta Love, invited us to transform a room at the IFC Homestart homeless shelter! We spent about an hour buying the bedding, bathroom items, and decorations and then three hours putting it all together. We even made our own decorations - two paintings that went above the two beds in the room and a letter board sharing our thoughts.
